Today on the Farm

Updated: May 4, 2021

Pulled into the farm this morning and noticed some little critter was chewing on my seat cushions. Like every day, each day presents itself with its unique set of circumstances. How you handle them may very well dictate the tone of the rest of your day. For now, I will let the critters win, I have to much tractor work and tilling to do.

The plan is to haul in a new shed, relocate the covered wagon, burn the tree pile, dig out more stumps, begin tilling field two, meet the cat salesman to discuss purchasing equipment, and scout for wild hogs. It's a big day, but full of excitement and adventure. We love working with the tiller and grapple, sculpting the land preparing it for our new journey. But for now, 1 day at a time. Time to focus on the task at hand, and that's not being overwhelmed by the field mice eating all my cushions.
